The sun is shining, my dog is napping, and my calendar somehow says 2024. How did that happen?! As I look ahead to the new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on 2023. It was a busy year as I experienced my first full calendar year officiating and I couldn’t be more proud of how my business has grown. I had the honor of marrying 70 couples at 61 different venues throughout Western Washington, from cozy, intimate backyard elopements to museums and aquariums. I have witnessed so much love, joy, and happiness in each ceremony, and I am grateful for every couple who trusted me to be a part of their special day.
I also traveled a lot in 2023 - quite literally have taken planes, trains, and automobiles (and ferries!). Shoutout to A&M for my first out-of-state wedding at the beautiful Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont!
One of the highlights of 2023 was partnering with my couples to donate a total of $2,432.50 to sixteen different organizations that are close to my heart. I’ve always loved the idea of using special occasions like birthdays and weddings to raise money for my community and am eternally grateful to all of my amazing couples for sharing in that vision.
